Navelim Villagers ahead

Navelim Villagers Union booked a semi-final berth in the 14th Benaulim Villagers inter-village football tournament organised by Sirlim Sports Club scoring a convincing 2-0 win over Holiday Sports Club,Arpora at Dando ground,Benaulim on Saturday.
Navelim started on a positive note and forged ahead in the 12th minute when striker Joao Pereira made no mistake by placing the ball into the far corner of the net.
Spurred by the early success, Navelim repeatedly raided the Holiday goal which paid dividends in the 19th minute when veteran Domnic Cabral unleashed a long range shot which beat the Holiday goalkeeper. 
Holiday desperate for goals, went all out in the second session but failed to find the success.
