Navelim Villagers Union dominated the match proceedings as they constantly tried to exploit Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda’s defense.
Santano Furtado ran down the flank with the ball and crossed the ball to Alvito Colaco who made no mistake as he headed the ball home to give his team the early deserving lead in the 13th minute.
Navelim Villagers continued their domination, tirelessly threatening the rivals and trying to increase their lead.
However Don Bosco Oratory tried hard at defending their goal from the rivals.
Navelim Villagers Union finally got an opportunity wherein Morlin Gomes rolled the ball to Presley Gomes who with a powerful strike shot the ball at the back of the net, doubling the lead for his team in the 30th minute.
Ruthlessly Navelim still tried to score more goals as Don Bosco Oratory struggled with their defense.
It was Sandy Colaco who with his arrowbound shot made it 3-0 for Navelim Villagers Union off Avito Colaco’s connect.
Navelim Villagers Union laid back with their 3-0 lead while Don Bosco Oratory who didnt lose any hope bounced back to score two goals in quick succession through Roque Borges in the 60th and 64th minute, however they failed to find the equaliser after many attempts at the goal, as the match ended in a 3-2 scoreline.
Navelim Villagers Union will clash with Betalbatim SC in the final of the Curtorim Gymkhana Cup, on August 14.
