MARGAO: The Navelkaracho Ekvot 15-day summer coaching camp got underway at Sinquetim ground, Navelim, Monday.
The camp was inaugurated by Fr Jose Roque Gonsalves. In his address Fr Jose asked the people from Navelim to make the best use of the camp.
Former India coach and present India assistant coach Savio Medeira in stressed that reputed ‘C’ Licence coach and former nationals and internationals will impart training and their inputs will help the trainees to hone their skills.
Arjuna Awardee Brahamanad Shankwalkar also spoke. Over 100 trainees under 14 years of age group are participating in the camp. Among those present were GFA executive members Schubert Furtado , and Bishut Themudo.
