Navhind in Gad Trophy semis

Navhind Publication defeated Doordarshan by 8 wickets and moved into the semi-finals of 2nd late Vijay Gad Inter-media cricket tournament organised by Sports Journalists Association of Goa in collaboration with Sports Authority of Goa at Campal on Wednesday.
Doordarshan could score only 46 runs for 6 wickets in 15 overs. For Navhind, Kishore Kamat gave only 2 runs in his three overs and took one wicket. Santosh, Sudesh and Shailesh got one wicket each.
Navhind reached the target scoring 48 for 2 in just 5.2 overs. Anirudh Raul scored 13, Sudhakar Shanbaug unbeaten 10.
Man-of-the match – Kishore Kamat of Navhind.
Earlier, Prudent Media defeated All India Radio by six wickets while Times of India defeated Sunaparant by 30 runs.
