PANJIM: The newly elected Managing Commitee of Goa Chess Association headed by Mahesh Candolkar called on Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, here, Tuesday.
The GCA delegation comprised besides Mahesh, secretary Ashesh Keni, treasurer Vishwas Pilankar, Damodar Zambaulikar, Satyawan Harmalkar, Arvind Mhamal, Tukaram Shetye, Girsh Gadgil, Sagar Sakordekar, Kalidas Harwalkar, Ramchandra Parab, Amogh Namshikar.
It was brought to the notice of Pramod that there is no chess coach in the capital and that each taluka needs to have one coach.
