MARGAO: Neha Prasad, Alisha Soares and Priyanka Khandeparkar all won gold medals on the second day of the 8th Pandharinath Shirodkar Memorial Boxing Championship organized by Panjim Boxing Club in Campal, Panjim.
Neha Prasad (PBC) came back strong to edge past her opponent Riya Fernandes (People’s) in the Final Junior Women A-48 kgs category. National Games medalist Priyanka Khandeparkar (PBC) won her bout convincingly with referee stopping the contest in the second round to win Gold in the Women 54kgs category.
Alisha Soares (PBC) defeated Shivani (Punjab) 5-0 to win Gold in the A-60kgs category.
