Nerul crush Friends

Nerul Sports Club defeated Friends XI, Vaddem 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of 37th Candolim Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Candolim Sports Club at Dr. Gustavo Monteiro stadium, Candolim on Tuesday.
After a barren first half, Nerul shot into the lead in the 10th minute of the second half through Leroy Almeida off a Dynaneshwar cross.  Down by a goal, Vaddem tried to level the score but their forwards failed to find the net. Nerul doubled the lead in the 20th minute through a solo effort by Mousim Agha.
