Nerul Cup soccer today

The 16th Nerul Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament gets underway on Thursday at Nerul Sports Club ground, Nerul. The tournament has been sponsored by the village panchayat of Nerul and is being organised by Nerul Sports Club.
The winners will be richer by Rs 20,000 besides the rolling trophy while the runners-up will take home Rs 15,000 besides the trophy.
In the inaugural match, Calangute Association will take on Peddem Bomm, Anjuna. The other teams participating are Saligao Sporting Club, Cuncolim Union, Candolim Sports Club, F.C. Siolim, P.V.C. Parra, Nagoa Sporting Club, St. Augustias Sporting Club Pomburpa, Adarsh Yuvak Sangh Saligao, Milagres SC, Sodiem Siolim Sports Club, Saligao United, Sangolda Lightning and Arpora Sporting.
