ANJUNA: UC Nerul blanked St Savio Sports Club, Calangute 2-0 to enter the final of North Goa Mc Dowells’ No 1 Yaari Premiere Cup inter-village football tournament, organised by Anjuna Gymkhana, at Anjuna ground, on Tuesday.
Nerul took the lead in the 6th minute through Anson. UC Nerul, however, couldn’t be denied for long to score the insurance goal when Sanket Jotkar, who had a good game, sent a cross which was met by Bhavesh to make it 2-0.
