The Colva team’s first real move in the 10th minute resulted in the opening goal as medio Manuel Fernandes played a through ball to striker Nevile Araujo who striked the right footer past rival keeper Prakash Naik. Jose Cookies Loutolim fought back and restored parity as Robin Pinheiro’s cross from the right was slotted in by striker Filomeno Fernandes.
Colva again took the lead a minute before the break when Nevile held off the challenge of Loutolim defender Minguel D’costa and slotted home. After the change of ends, Loutolim tried hard through Robin but he lacked support from his teammates.
Barcelona Colva made sure of the victory six minutes before the close when striker Nevile found the net from inside the box to complete his hat-trick.
