MARGAO: Guardian Angel Sports Club, Curchorem have set their sights on GFA Pro League qualification after an impressive performance in the GFA Second Division League.
“Now that we have won the Second Division, the goal is to take the momentum into the First Division next season and eventually qualify for the Pro League said,” Johncy Fernandes, president of Guardian Angel Sports Club.
Fernandes looks to strengthen the squad in the coming season in his quest of Pro League qualification in the seasons to come.
He thanked his players and coaching staff Charles Dias, Narcisco Fernandes and manager Rhemus Dantas for all the hard work put in at the club.
Nilesh Cabral, MLA of Curchorem Constituency, congratulated the team and the management for being the Second Division champions 2014 and assured unconditional support for the club to excel in the future.
