Nuvem in last eight

Hosts Nuvem Sports Club overcame Navelim Villages 3-2 to cruise into the quarter-finals of Mae dos Pobres soccer at Nuvem church ground on Sunday.
The teams started on a positive note and it was Nuvem who surged ahead when Neves Noronha gave the finishing touches to a Warren Dias fine cross.
Later, Rowlin Borges made it 2-0 and just before the close of the first half Joseph Colaco rounded off the tally. Fr. Alvaro Martin was the chief guest and Newton Colaco guest of honour.
