RAIA: Our Lady of Fatima Boys, Baida-Chinchinnim scored a convincing 7-6 win over The Dragon Boys, Borda-Margao via the tie-breaker to enter the quarterfinals of 4th all-Goa inter-village open football tournament, organised by Davorlim Sports and Cultural Club and played at Davorlim Club ground, Laymati, on Wednesday
The match started on fast pace and Chinchinnim scored through Delmon Rebello with a header in 10th minute while Aliston Rebello increased the lead for Chinchinnim in 20th minute with powerful shoot. Before half time, Dragon Boys pulled one goal back through Renzil Barreto.
At half time Chinchinnim were leading by 2-1.
In second session, Dragon Boys scored two quick goals through Stewart in 35th and 39th minutes of the play and Our Lady of Fatima Boys found the equaliser through Sangmond Rebello with a volley in the 55th minutes of the play and made way for a penalty shoot to decide winner.
In resultant tie-breaker, Our Lady of Fatima Boys proved to be better shooters.
