ASSOLDA: Our Lady of Gloria SC, Raia got the better of Tilamola United SC 4-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the 10th All-Goa St Anthony Festival Cup football tournament organised by St.Anthony SC, Assolda, at Assolda Panchayat ground, on Tuesday.
Tilamola’s Macklon Colaco opened the score-line in the 10th minute.
Ten minutes later, Raia’s Josico Fernandes equalised after that Danny Fernandes doubled the account in the 28th minute.
Twelve minutes later, Tilamola’s Jovito Carvalho levelled terms.
It was Raia’s Alex Oliveira who netted a brace in the 45th and 50th minutes to make it 4-2 for Raia.
Tilamola tried to get back into the game but failed with the attempts they had to edge closer to victory.
