MAPUSA: Our Lady of Grace HS Bicholim defeated Honda HS, Honda by 10 wickets in the Girls U-17 North District Cricket semi-final, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Peddem grounds, Mapusa.
Honda won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 33 runs for all wickets in 15 overs.
Grace Ridha Shaik took 3 wickets, Metali Gawandekar 3 wickets, Kvashika Gaonkar 2wickets For Our Lady of Grace.
In reply Our Lady of Grace chased down the target in merely three overs without losing any wicket.
In the next semis Shri Saraswat HS Juvem got the better of GHS Alto Betim by 7 wickets.
Shri Saraswat won the toss who elected to field first. GHS Alto Betim scored 68runs in 12 overs, losing all wickets. For Juvem, Kavery took 3 wickets, Shakshi took 2 wickets.
For Alto Betim Preeti Chavan scored highest 19runs.
In reply Juvem chased down the target in 7.3 overs by losing three wickets. Kavery Gaikwad and Krupa Patel scored 12 runs each for Juvem.
