ARAMBOL: Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School defeated Pachkroshi HSS 7-6 via the tie-breaker to emerge champions of the U-17 Pernem Taluka Subroto Mukherjee football tournament at Mandrem panchayat ground, on Friday.
Mount Carmel moved ahead with back-to-back goals from Given Fernandes in the 23rd and 26th minutes respectively.
Panchkroshi netted two quick goals through Munna Roy in the 29th and 38th minutes and levelled terms.
In the tie-breaker, Our Lady of Mount Carmel High school proved to be better shooters.
