DAMON- RAIA: Our Lady of Health HS, Cuncolim edged past Our Lady of Rosary HS, Fatorda, 3-2 via the tie-breaker to move into the semi- finals of the 3rd Fr Peter SVD Memorial football tournament, at SVD Seminary ground, Damon-Raia, on Tuesday.
Cuncolim midfielder Rahul Rodrigues should have netted in the fourth minute but the latter’s shot hit the Fatorda side netting.
In the resultant tie-breaker Our Lady of Health HS, Cuncolim netted through Hagon Diniz, Velito Rocha and Rahul Rodrigues and for Our Lady of Rosary HS Fatorda Rivo and Borges scored.
Rahul Rodrigues was declared the man-of-the-match.
