VASCO: Our Lady of Perpetual High School, Cortalim blanked Deepvihar High School, Sada 2-0 to emerge champs of the Mormugao Taluka U-14 boys Subroto Mukherjee football tournament organised by DSYA at Astroturf, Fatorda on Wednesday.
Velroy Dias and Nihar Naik netted a goal each for the winners.
In the U-17 Boys category too, Our Lady of Perpetual School, Cortalim got the better of St Andrew School, Vaddem 4-2 to clinch the title.
Our Lady of Perpetual Succour netted a hat-trick through Lesley Xavier while Glen D’Souza also got his name on the scoresheet for the winners.
Manish and Harish netted a goal each for St Andrew HS.
