DAMON-RAIA: Our Lady of Rosary High School, Fatorda blanked St. Thomas High School, Cansaulim 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the 4th Fr Peter SVD Memorial football tournament, organised by SVD Mission Seminary in association with SVD Friends Association, at SVD Seminary ground, Damon-Raia, on Tuesday.
Franson Furtado opened the score-line for Rosary in the 10th minute.
Twelve minutes later, Malcolm Correia doubled the account for Rosary off Amar Hanabaratti’s connect.
Rio Rodrigues missed chances in the 30th and 40th minutes.
Amar Hanabaratti of Rosary received the man-of-the-match award from Fr Joaquim Fernandes of SVD Seminary.
