FATORDA: Our Lady of Succour High School, Nagoa blanked St Rock High School, Tollecanto-Velim 2-0 to move into the next round of the Subroto Mukerjee Salcete Taluka U-17 boys football tournament organised by DSYA, at Astro turf, Fatorda, on Thursday.
The deadlock was broken by OL Succour HS’s Vasant Mangi in the 9th minute. Minutes later, Vasant Mangi doubled the account for OL Succour HS.
In another match, Mae Dos Pobres High School, Nuvem blanked Fr Basilio Andrade Memorial HS, Majorda 2-0.
In the other match, Rosary HSS Navelim outplayed Mount Mary’s HSS, Chinchinim 3-0.
