MARGAO: Goan Hockey in collobration with Hockey India celebrated Olympics Day in North and South Goa Districts.
MLA Cruz Silva distributed hockey sticks to St. Xavier School, Velim in presence of Fr. San Antonio Pereira and HM Mabel D’Costa. At Chinchinim hockey sticks were presented to Mount Mary’s School in the presence of HM Caridade Fernandes.
MLA Yuri Alemao donated hockey sticks to Damodar High School, Gudi-Paroda, and St. Joseph Institute, Chandor. These were distributed by Melissa Alemao. At Cuncolim’s Maria Bambina HS, Sister Lily Fernandes held a rally.
Goan Hockey secretary Farel Furtado, highlighted the significance of Olympic Day. At St Britto’s HS, and Janata HS, MLA Joshua D’souza distributed hockey sticks.
At MES HSS, Vasco various activities were conducted under the leadership of Nelly Rodriguez, Principal Sachin.
