Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda shunted out Union of Chinchinim Villagers 7-6 via the sudden-death to enter the quarter-final of Dalton Fernandes inter-village football tournament organised by Dramapur Sports Club at Government village school ground, Sarzora on Monday .The teams were locked goalless at the end of normal period of play.
The teams displayed attacking football and there was plenty of action at either citadel but both their rearguard stood tall in thwarting the attacks.
In the tie-breaker, Agnelo Furtado, Charlton. Vincent Barbosa, George Baretto, Savio Fernandes and Cliff Baretto were on target for Don Bosco Oratory while Bricio Fernandes, Myron Pereira, Pelton Leitao, Joel Fernandes and Jeetendra Bhise were successful for Union of Chinchinim Villagers.
Pelton Leitao of Union of Chinchinim Villagers was adjudged man-of-the match.
