DEVOTTE-LOUTOLIM: Orgao United shot-out River Bank Rassaim 5-4 via the tie- breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the 20th All Loutolim inter-ward football tournament organised by Saviour of the World Youth Association, Loutolim, at Saviour of the World church ground, Loutolim, on Sunday.
It was the match fought between two close-by neighbours, Bryson Fernandes netted for River Bank in the 12th minute. Darren Gomes equalised for Orgao United in the 32nd minute.
In the tie-breaker, Lawrence, Hilario, Darren and Sadik scored for Orgao United while Revlon, Brison and Allwin scored for River Bank Rassaim.
In another match, Excel Rovers Vanxem defeated Rassaim youth association 5-3 via tie breaker to move into the quarter-finals.
Jason Miranda of Rassaim netted the first goal in the ninth minute. Clinton of Vanxem equalised in the 21st minute. Rassaim went into a lead in the second half through Melvin Miranda in the 36th minute but Vanxem equalised in the dying minutes of the game through Charles Miranda.
In the tie-breaker, Excel Rover, Vanxem proved to be better shooters.
