PANJIM: The mini athletic meet, organized by St Anna Sports and Cultural Association received tremendous response, at Santa cruz ground, here, Tuesday.
Chriselle Pereira won the first place in under-7 category and secured the third position in the under-15 event.
Neola De Araujo bagged the top spot in the under-12 girl’s category and also the second place in the under-15 category. Melreena Fernandes won the first spot in the under-15 event.
The other winners who excelled were Ziel De Araujo, who secured the second place and Aricia Patricio won the under-7 girl’s category. Chiquiter De Oliveira and Ahwini Parab won the third place.
In the boy’s category, Huentemil de Oliveira won the first place in the under-7 event while Regan De Araujo and Aliston Araujo finished second and third respectively.
Jerman Barretto topped to under-12 category and Alick Cost secured the top position.
Srikant KC wobnteh second place in the under-15 category while Eligius de Araujo settled for the third spot.
In the under-11 event, Delston Fernandes and Breadly De Araujo secured the second and third positions respectively.
All the first three winners were awarded Rs 1,000, Rs 600 and Rs 400 respectively along with trophies and certificates.
Joaquim Pereira, president of St Anna Sports and Cultural Association flagged off the race.
Teodolina Dias Juliao, treasurer and other member were present. General secretary Custodio Araujo compered.
