VELSAO: Pale Boys defeated Belem Boys 3-2 to move into the semi-finals of the the VI intra-village/ward football tournament in memory of late John Aguiar organised by the Velsao Villagers Association, at Dr T B Cunha Sports Complex, at Cansaulim, on Saturday.
Pale boys netted the first goal of the match through Richie in the tenth minute while Roydon Pinto equalised for Belem. Later, Belem made it 2-1 through Kevin in the 23rd minute.
In the 36th minute, Ryan levelled terms for Pale while Jacinto scored the match winner for Pale.
