RAIA: The Panjim Table Tennis Club’s summer coaching camp, an initiative under the Goa Table Tennis Association’s grassroots training programme, concluded at the indoor stadium, Campal-Panjim, on Saturday.
Conducted in collaboration with the GTTA and the Sports Authority of Goa, the camp was held under the expert guidance of chief coach Selvyn Godinho and Assistant Coach Gaurav Chari.
The camp saw enthusiastic participation from around 40 young athletes, who engaged in intensive training and skill development sessions aimed at fostering future talent in table tennis.
GTTA President Sudin Verenkar expressed his satisfaction with the camp’s outcome, stating, “The summer coaching camp has been a resounding success, providing young players with invaluable training and exposure. We are committed to nurturing grassroots talent and building a strong foundation for the future of table tennis in Goa. The dedication and enthusiasm shown by both the coaches and participants is truly inspiring, and we look forward to more such initiatives.”
