SARZORA: Parish Youth Nuvem beat Arlem Youth Association Raia 7-6 via the tie-breaker to reach the semi-finals of the Assumpta Trophy, organised by Sarzora Sports Club, played at SAG ground, Sarzora on Thursday.
Nuvem opened the scoring through Jebinton Fernandes in the 9th minute. Five minutes later, Raia equalised through Eldon Colaco. Nuvem’s Jebinton Fernandes made it 2-1 for Nuvem in the 18th minute but the joy was short-lived as Raia’s Eldon Colaco levelled terms in the 25th minute.
Nuvem further inflated the lead through Denikson Dias to make it 3-2 in the 37th minute. Sweden Barbosa of Raia made it 3-3 in the dying minutes of the game.
In the tie-breaker, Nuvem netted through Nicolau Colaco, Denikson Dias, Jebinton Fernandes, Alvito Dias and Bevan Colaco. Raia SC scored through Jason Barbosa, Jouston Barbosa, Sweden Barbosa and Shawn D’Souza.
