PANJIM: Paroda defeated Maina-Curtorim by a 2-0 margin in the U-13 Boys Goa Football Development (GFDC) Inter Centre Rising Stars football festival, at Paroda ground.
Blayne Fernandes opened the scoring in the 15th minute. Two minutes later he added the second.
In another U-13 boys match Benaulim thrashed Quepem, 14-1 at Pope John Paul School ground, Quepem. The half time score was 6-0.
In U-10 boys match, Quepem beat Benaulim, 3-1 and Maina-Curtorim humbled Paroda, 3-0.
