CALANGUTE: PVC Association, Parra defeated hosts Adarsh Yuvak Sangh 2-0 to book a place in the semi-finals of Rusi Daver Cup All-Goa inter-village football tournament at Saligao grounds on Wednesday.
Parra began the match on an attacking note and went two up inside the first five minutes to upset the apple cart of Adarsh.
Joaquim Pacheco found the net in the very 2nd minute of play while Savio doubled the lead in the 4th minute. Trailing by the quick fire double, Adarsh got their act together and went all out in search of goals but their forwards were unable to find the net. Trevor and Abhijit saw their attempts narrowly miss the mark. Parra forwards too missed a couple of scoring opportunities.
