PANJIM: Patna Lions defeated Goa Tigers by 14 runs in the exhibition match played at Goa Cricket Academy ground, Porvorim, on Tuesday.
Goa Tigers won the toss and elected to field.
Patna Lions scored 154 for 9 wickets in 25 overs. Jude Singh scored 51 runs while Rakesh Jolly scored 33 runs, Khanpurkar P (25).
Goa Lions’, Uddit Yadav picked 2 wickets while Vinay Palekar took 3 wickets. Naresh Parsekar and Zamir Corol took a wicket each.
In reply, Goa Tiger scored 139 runs in for 7 wickets in the allotted 25 overs.
Rajesh Godge (38), Uddit Yadav (20), Sandeep Singnapurkar (13), were the top scorers fro Goa Lions.
Patna Lions’, Jude Singh, Khanpurkar P and Pradeep S. picked two wickets each while Omar Ahmed took a wicket to hold Goa Tigers.
