VASCO: A last minute goal by Adil Shaik helped Patrong Sports Club hold Benfica Youth Club to a 2-2 draw in a Round 3 match of the GFA Third Division League match at Tilak Stadium, here, on Friday. They were level 1-1 at half time.
Benfica shot into the lead in the 14th minute through their prolific striker Preetesh Mayenkar but Patrong fought back with Ajay Patel restoring parity. It was Dheeraj who put Benfica ahead with a goal after the break. The teams went into injury time with Patrong pressing hard and finally succeeding in scoring the equalizer through Adil Shaik.
