PANJIM: Crowd favourites Peddem Bomm showing good football skills thrashed Benny XI 4-1 to advance in Airtel Beach Football Challenge 2013-14, at Calangute beach, Saturday.
Benny XI and Peddem Bomm were tied 1-1 at half time. Benny XI had the first look at the goal through the efforts of Oswin. Peddem Bomm’s Kalpesh immediately levelled the score with a penalty shot.
After crossing over, Kalpesh increased the lead for Peddem Bomm with a penalty shot.
Later, Kalpesh completed his hat-trick to give Peddem Bomm the much needed relief.
Shane scored the fourth goal for Peddem Bomm to seal the fate of Benny XI.
