Peddem Bomm Sports Club, Anjuna overcame Varca Sports Club 4-3 via the tie-breaker in the inaugural match of Taleigao Village Panchayat Cup organised by Clube Sao Minguel de Taleigao at Dr Remegio Pinto ground, Taleigao on Monday.
In another match, United Club of Benaulim edged past Adarsh Yuvak Sangh, Saligao 5-4 via the tie-breaker. During the end of regulation period the scores were 1-1.
Adarsh took the lead through Sandesh Chopdekar. Shelton Rodrigues equalised for Benaulim.
