MAPUSA: Peddem Bomm Sports Club booked their berth in the play-off with a 5-1 victory over Adarsh Yuvak Sangh, Saligoa in a GFA 3rd Division football league match (Bardez zone) at Chapora ground, Friday. The winners led 3-0 at half time.
Kalpesh Gadekar scored a hat-trick while Rohan Ratwal registered a brace for Peddem Bomm. Sandesh Chopdekar scored a consolation goal for Adarsh.
PVC Parra is the other team from the group to have qualified for the play-offs.
Milagres thump Moira
At Moira ground, Milagres Sports Club thumped A A de Moira 3-1 at Moira ground. The teams were locked 1-1 at the breather.
In the Mormugao zone match Mormugao USC defeated Salgaocar SC (jrs) 1-0. The all important goal was scored by Jonathan Menezes in the 53rd minute.
