PANJIM: Pernem Cultural and Sports Club defeated Youth Sports Club of Khandola by 158 runs in the GCA A Division North league, at GCA ground, Porvorim, on Friday.
Pernem CSC won the toss and elected to bat. They were bundled out for 269 runs in 43.1 overs. Rajesh Bevinkatti was the top scorer of the innings with 103 runs off 85 balls.Prasad Harle scalped 4 wickets for the opposition.
In reply, YSC Khandola were bundled out for 111 runs in 33.3 overs thanks to Omkar Ghule and Vipul Deshprabhu who picked up 3 wickets each for Pernem.
In the second match, Curchorem Youth Cricket Club defeated Al-Fatha Cricket Club by 70 runs.
