DAMON-RAIA: Perpetual Succour Convent High School Navelim defeated Bethany Convent High School Sao Jose de Areal 5-4 via the tie-breaker and entered the final of the Fr Peter SVD memorial football tournament, organised by SVD Mission Seminary at SVD Seminary ground, Damon-Raia.
Navelim school netting the first goal in the 40th minute through Clayerbern. But the joy was short-lived as Clifton Rocha made it all square for Sao Jose de Areal team in the 46th minute.
In the tie-breaker Perpetual Succour Convent netted through Ashley Fernandes, Meldon Piexito, Ian Colaco and Hayston Afonso and for Bethany Convent Clifton Rocha, Fleson Gomes and Durgesh Soni.
