CHINCHINIM: Perpetual Succour Convent HS, Navelim registered a solitary goal victory over our Lady of Health HS, Cuncolim, to move into the final of the U-17 St Joseph Vaz soccer tournament, organised by Mount Mary’s High School, Chinchinim, at Our Lady of Hope church ground, Chinchinim, on Saturday.
Perpetual Succour Convent HS, Navelim netted the only goal through Flanoy Gomes in the 20th minute.
In the second semi-final match, Mount Mary HS, Chinchinim beat Rosary HS, Navelim 1-0.
The only goal was scored by Sohil Shaikh in the 28th minute.
The final will be held on 16th January.
