MAPUSA: Pilerne SC humbled Goan Warriors FC 4-0 in the concluding GFA’s Second Division League match played at Guirim ground, here, on Friday.
Chandan Govenkar took the lead in the 33rd minute scoring with a neat placement 1-0. On crossing over, Pilerne SC carried on their onslaught to pump in three more goals through Sainesh Gaonkar and Dharshan Pujari (2) to qualify for Play-Offs.
In the next match at Duler Stadium, PVC Parra managed to scrape past Bidesh XI by 5-3 margin.
At the breather, the teams were locked in a 2-2 draw. Hilton Fernandes scored from the penalty spot with Pradeep Kumar, Sahil Jalmi, Sadab Sheikh Cyprian Rodrigues scored from Parra colts. Krish Naroji, Saish Kavelkar (2) scored for Bidesh XI.
