Ponda Footballers scored both the goals before half time through Chetan and Mauresh while Rossman Cruz SC equilized through Imran and Christiano. Both the teams played attacking football but Rossman Cruz SC dominated the match.
Rossman Cruz SC made the first move when Remedious rolled the ball to Christiano who shot and Shubham under the bar dived to save. At the other end Reazon from top of the box shot in the goal however the ball hit the crossbar.
Ponda Footballers got a free kick and Chetan stepped forward leading the ball straight into the nets beating the keeper to open the score for Ponda Footballers. Ponda Footballers increased the lead when Peter from the flank gave a well measured pass to Mauresh who placed it over advancing keeper to make it 2-0.
After the breather, Rossman Cruz SC went all out to equilize when Rosewel and Hilton shot was saved by the Ponda Footballers keeper. Rossman Cruz SC reduced the lead when Imran beat the off-side trap and placed the ball over the advancing keeper to make it 2-1.
Rossman Cruz SC equalised when Rosewel headed the ball which beat the keeper and Christiano just tapped the ball into the net to make it 2-2.
In the tie-breaker Kaiser, Fleming, Reazon and Aaron were on target for Ponda Footballers while Remedious, Hilton and Stephen scored for Rossman Cruz.
