CURCHOREM: Pope John XXIII High School, Quepem and Smt Chandrabhaga Tukoba Naik High School, Curchorem, clinched the U-17 Table Tennis titles in the boys and girls categories respectively in Quepem Zone tournament, at Borimol, Quepem.
In the boys category, Aleazer, Aston and Fane played well for Pope John and defeated Our Lady Mother of Poor High School, Tilamol, 3-0 which was represented by Aditya, Cassius and Matheen.
In girls category, Shritiya, Aparna, Aarti were too good for CTN and defeated Guardian Angel 3-0 represented by Diena, Giena and Litsa. Meanwhile, Nishad Pagi, Joel Dias and Harsh Desai of S S Angle Higher Secondary School, Mashem-Canacona, defeated Damodar Higher Secondary School, Gudi-Paroda, 3-0 represented by Rohan, Rahul and Shivraj in inter-Higher Secondary School Table Tennis.
