QUEPEM: Pope John XXIII outplayed Immaculate Conception HS, Paroda, 4-0 in the final of DSYA U-17 girls football tournament.
Sherry Fernandes opened the scoring in the eighth minute with a long shot that left the opponents awestruck. Captain Prenaly Fernandes made it 2-0 soon later.
After halftime, Patricia Gomes and Celita Fernandes added a goal each to make it 4-0.
Pope John XXIII will now represent Quepem Taluka at the District level.
