TILAMOL: Pope John XXIII High School triumphed over Immaculate conception HS 5-4 via the tie-breaker to claim the Quepem taluka U-17 girls Subroto Mukherjee title, at Tilamol panchayat ground, on Friday.
Both the teams tried their level best to find the match winners but their strikers fumbled with the chances that were created as a result the match ended with a goalless draw.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Pope John XXIII HS netted through Valany Rocha, Keneisha Dias, Flani Costap Palmira Costa and Selria Fernandes while Flani Costa saved a crucial penalty for the winners.
