PANJIM: Popular English High School, Goa Velha scored a solitary goal win over Azmane High School, Neura in the final of U-17 inter-school football tournament organised by Royal Agnelite, Fr Agnel Central School, Pilar, recently.
Raju Mullimani awarded as the best team player, Dhanush Gaunder as the best defender, Shammer Khaji as the highest scorer and Rahul Vernekar received a fair play award.
PE teacher Dilesh L Gadekar trained the students. Headmistress Vandita Lawande appreciated the team for their laudable skills and the excellent win.
