PANJIM: It will be all North Zone Badminton men finals in All-India LIC Games 2023-24 as Prem Singh will clash with Sidharth Jakhar at the Peddem Multipurpose Stadium, on FRiday.
Earlier in the semi-finals, Prem Singh (North Zone) demonstrated his prowess, defeating Jason Xavier (South Zone) with an impressive score of 21-11; 21-12 while Sidharth Jakhar (North Zone) secured a spot in the finals by defeating K Kishore Kumar (South Central Zone) with a scoreline of 21-13; 21-11.
In the women’s singles, Leena Dhapre (Western Zone) showcased dominance, securing victory against K Sridevi (South Central Zone) 21-7; 21-4 while Shradha Srivastava (North Zone) faced a tough challenge from Varda Dixit (Western Zone) but emerged victorious with a score of 21-18; 07-21; 21-15.
In the volleyball semi-finals clashes, South Central Zone exhibited supremacy, defeating South Zone with a scoreline of 25/7; 25/19; 25/18. The clash between Western Zone and East Central Zone ended with Western Zone emerging triumphant, securing a victory with a score of 25/19; 25/17; 25/16.
