52 Boys and Girls from ages 4 to 11 were divided into two categories Tiny tots which had 5 teams and Sub Juniors which has 7 teams.
The tournament was played in a league system with the top two teams competing in the final.
The Final of the Tiny Tots category was contested between the Purple Ninjas and Orange Tigers. The Purple Ninjas came out on top with a hard fought 2-1 victory with Owais Kuknoor scoring the winner late in the match.
In the final of the Sub-juniors, Yellow Samurai’s tamed the Dark blue Leopards by 4-1, Samuel Dsouza scored a brilliant hat-trick to lift his team to the championship trophy.
The Chief Guest for the evening Lee Johnson Head Coach of India U-19 and assistant Coach of the Senior National team.
In his speech expressed how delighted he was to see kids playing Futsal at such a tender age and how he remembered himself enjoying the sport when he was at the same age, he also mentioned how India needs more infrastructure and more kids of this age playing Futsal where they develop better technique on the ball which will help them immensely when they move on towards professional football later in their life.
The chief Guest gave away participation and certificates to all the players and the winners trophy to the winning teams.
