MAPUSA: Purshotam Walawalkar HSS Mapusa emerged victorious by 7 points in the Zone 1 Higher Secondary Girls Chess Tournament, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Peddem Sports Complex, on Thursday.
Shree Shantadurga HSS Bicholim were the runners-up with six points and St Xavier HSS Mapusa bagged the third place securing six points.
