PANJIM : PVC Association defeated Youth Sports Club of Colvale 2-1 in 23rd Vagator Soccer 2023 at Vagator Parish Youth Sports Club ground, Wednesday.
Colvale took the lead in the 13th minute when Roger Miranda dribbled past the PVC defense and scored with a neat placement.
A minute later, Glaydon Faria had a chance to level the score for Parra but Colvale goalkeeper Sahil Kambli effected a crucial save. Parra scored the equalizer in the 29th minute following a 25-yard free kick. Girish Naik sent a floater to Pruthvesh Pednekar who headed it in.
In the second half, a goalkeeping error by Colvale’s Sahil Kambli in the 68th minute enabled Pruthvesh Pednekar of Parra to score.
The man-of-the match prize was awarded to Pruthvesh Pednekar of PVC Association by Claudio Pacheco.
