PVC Parra down Vagator PYSC

MAPUSA: PVC Parra came back strongly to register a 6-5 win over Vagator PYSC in the GFA’s Second Division League match played at Parra ground, on Friday.

Both teams played on a promising note, all focused to make it to the Play-Off, where Vagator PYSC colts went into the breather with a 3-2 lead. Vagator PYSC scored three goals in the first 32 minutes of the match with Regan Costa netting a brace and Sanket Harmalkar scoring a own goal. 

However, PVC Parra unit fought gallantly and scored twice from the penalty spots through Noel D’Silva.

On crossing over, Adarsh Raj and Semson Gomes scored for Vagator PYSC, while for PVC Parra unit Rohan Pereira (2) and Shadab Shaikh (2) scored to give full three points for his team. Vagator PYSC received a jolt in the 62nd minute with the sending off Danish Shaikh by Referee Tejas Nagvekar, for he blocked PVC Parra’s Rohan Pereira, who was in a scoring position.
