PANJIM: PVC Parra got the better of Don Bosco Oratory 3-0 in the U-16 league organised by Goa football Association played at Don Bosco ground on Wednesday.
Dave Lopes scored a brace as he netted in two quick goals in the 20th and 21st minute of the game respectively, while Ribhit Pednekar added another in the 42nd minute to take home all three points from the home side.
At Candolim ground, Candolim Sports Club and Sesa Football Academy played out a goalless draw.
In another game, Goa Velha Sports Club gained a walkover over Eagles Sports Club as they failed to report at the venue.
Elsewhere at Nagoa ground, Salcete FC humbled Pax of Nagoa 10-0.
At half-time the winneres led by three goals. Valencio D’Costa opened the scoring for Salcete FC in the 9th minute. Stalen Oliveira (17, 47, 69) Nistle Cardozo (54, 66), Aliston Mascarenhas (71, 72), Shendray Costa (28) and Meliston Rodrigues (52) were the other scorers for Salcete FC.
