MAPUSA: PVC Parra got the better of St. Savio’s SC, Calangute 4-3 via the tie-breaker to advance into the quarters of the Anjuna Gymkhana Cup organised by Anjuna Gymkhana, at Anjuna Gymkhana ground, on Friday.
The teams were locked in a goalless draw at the end of the regulation time.
Though both the teams played attacking football they failed to break the deadlock.
To decide the winner the tie-breaker was enforced where Floyd, Wilson, Sanket and Vassan scored for PVC Parra while Melton, Siddharth, and Sanjay scored for St Savio’s SC.
